Broadway in Scranton is gearing up for an explosive return starting this October, bringing back what was planned for the canceled portions of the 2019-2020 season. What Shows Will Play at Broadway in Scranton?

Rain—A Tribute to the Beatles

On October 6th, 2021, the theater will present this celebration of The Beatles and their landmark Abbey Road album. Other music from the iconic band will be performed as well.

Buddy—The Buddy Holly Story

Rescheduled from the previous season, this show celebrating the classic rock’n’roll icon will take place November 5th-7th, 2021. Tickets for the previous season’s shows will be honored.

On December 3rd-5th, 2021, you can come to enjoy this fun musical before the end of the year.

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory

Fans of the musical, the movie, the book, or any other interpretations of this classic story can come to enjoy this live performance from February 4th through the 6th 2022.


This energetic show will play in January, from the 12th to the 13th, kicking off the 2022 portion of the season.

Other Shows

Other shows include Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific, Cats, and The Blue Man Group in Spring 2022. To buy tickets for any of these shows, the best thing to do is buy a season ticket from the theater. At this time, individual tickets are not yet being sold.
