Do you know how many St. Patrick’s day activities there are to celebrate in North-Eastern Pennsylvania this year? Despite the pandemic, there are still many fun plans you can look forward to this month. This blog post lists a bunch of local activities through the middle and end of March. If you live in the Moosic and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Area, look forward to some of these yourself soon!
The Celtic Martins
125 Pine St.
Tamaqua, PA 18252
Looking for some concert fun this March? On March 13th you can come to the Tamaqua Community Arts Center and enjoy Celtic music.
Luck of the Library Online Auction
47 Broad St.
Pittston, PA 18640
On March 13th and 14th, you can bid on artwork and hand-made goods. Proceeds benefit the Pittston Memorial Library. The event is St. Patrick’s day-themed, even if doesn’t occur exactly on the holiday itself.
Riverdance – On Screen at the Dietrich
60 East Tioga St.
Tunkhannock, PA 18657
What better way to get into the spirit for St. Patrick’s day than to go see Riverdance? Watch the performance on the big screen at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock on either March 14th or March 17th.
Kid Approved Parent’s Night Out
640 Orange Rd.
Dallas, PA 18612
With other times in April and May, your children can come and have fun on March 19th with a gym, game room, and of course pizza. Health precautions will be in place, and the cost is $20 per child. It may not be St. Patrick’s day-themed, but it is an opportunity for children to have fun while parents can enjoy the weekend after the holiday.
