With summer quickly approaching, many local farmers markets are about to begin. If you are located in the Scranton, PA area, here are some farmers markets for you to check out.

The Co-Op Farmers Market is located in Scranton and open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. between mid-July and Thanksgiving Eve. Vendors include Hopkins Farms, Beta Bread, Heller’s Orchard, Harford Organic Farm and Flower Market, Grovedale Winery, and much more.
The South Side Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the 300 block of Alder Street in Scranton. The market is administered by the Elm Street Revitalization Project of United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA and runs from May 6, 2017 until October 14, 2017.
The Wilkes-Barre Farmers Market begins on June 29, 2017 and runs every Saturday from 10:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. through November 16, 2017. The market offers plenty of fun for the entire family and features a variety of items, including food, crafts, produce, and more.
The Farmers Market on Main is open on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. beginning at the end of June and running until mid-November. The market aims to provide access to fresh, locally grown produce and food as well as other goods and crafts.
The Pittston Farmers Market takes place every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. beginning on July 11, 2017 and running until November 21, 2017. The market is held on South Main Street and features an outstanding selection of locally grown produce, food, crafts, and more.
