2020 Kia Stinger Trim Levels

The 2020 Kia Stinger is designed to defy those who think Kia can’t build a sports car. The Stinger is a speedy little 4-door, especially at higher trim levels that are made with a twin-turbo engine. But it’s not like the Stinger is just built for speed. The Stinger comes in four different trim levels so shoppers can easily find the version that best suits their needs in terms of performance, price, comfort, and technology.

The four trim levels are the GT-Line, GT, GT1, and GT2. Each trim can be sold with AWD for those who know they want it. Despite the back window lifting with the trunk like a hatchback, the vehicle is still considered a sedan. It has space inside for five people to sit, without ignoring rear comfort features like rear ventilation ducts and a folding center armrest. The chart below is made to show some of the key features of each trim so shoppers can easily zero in on the trim that is best for them.

Trim Level Comparison

Only the lowest trim level comes with the smaller engine option. Although the GT-Line is the most popular trim, the Stinger really comes into its own with the twin-turbo engine option on the GT, GT1, and GT2 trims. The price does crawl up rather steep trim by trim, which is probably why the GT-Line still sells so well, but the premium audio system in the GT1 and above makes the price make sense. The GT2 clearly focuses on interior comfort and luxury, which may not be everyone’s desire when shopping, but it’s sure to wrangle those who appreciate the leather and highly adjustable seats.
